Anger Management

Anger is a normal, adaptive response to experiences of hurt, fear or frustration. However, when volatile emotions get out of control, it can sometimes lead to aggressive behavior. Our therapeutic process focuses on reducing those negative behaviors, which can be destructive in relationships, and can even affect one’s overall well-being.

Medication Management

With the addition of Leilani Lee, MD, as a Medical Consultant, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Akila Boozer, Synergy provides comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in need of behavioral health and medication management.

Positively Parenting

Being a parent sometimes requires a lot of courage, confidence and strategies as you navigate through each development of your child's life. We offer a workshop in parenting designed to help you develop effective parenting skills and identify various interventions to reinforce positive behavior.

Batterer Intervention

Batterer intervention is a method for addressing individuals who commit intimate partner violence or coercive controlling behaviors such as emotional, physical and sexual abuse against a current or former partner. This behavior crosses all socio- economic and ethnic backgrounds.

TF-CBT/ EMDR

TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) were developed for the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), a psychiatric disorder with psychological effects, for which our clinicians are well-trained. For more information about EMDR, check out this video:
