Andrea Witt

LPC-A

Life is constantly overwhelming yet blessing us each day. Our relationships can feel both challenging and rewarding at the same time. How can we ever navigate this personal journey full of paradox that often results in increased anxious feelings, difficulty with focus, and feelings of hopelessness? Are you ready to begin your journey toward healing? Andrea would be honored to join you.

Training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) have given her tools to help you navigate the ebb and flow of life and relationships. Andrea is also a Certified SYMBIS facilitator and enjoys working with couples. She uses an integrative and collaborate approach that is person centered, leaning into cognitive-behavioral theory. Andrea appreciates and honors the dignity of every person. Our world is constantly changing, and it is easy to feel stuck in this beautiful life as a result of life transitions or trauma. Andrea is holding space and hope for you to move forward in a positive and healthy way.

A native of Ohio, Andrea has had the pleasure of calling South Carolina home for over 25 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lander University and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She has experience counseling in both individual and group settings and is also an Adjunct Human Services professor at Piedmont Technical College. Andrea enjoys working with clients across the lifespan to build their strengths and deepen their values while applying mindfulness and acceptance skills to facilitate healing. Andrea is honored to accompany you on your healing journey.

Andrea loves spending time with her husband of 25 years and her 3 children hiking through the woods in search of waterfalls. Nature has so many healing properties and she enjoys soaking them all up as often as she can!
